Structures of the New residential building in Via Morazzone Como (2012)

SHORT DESCRIPTION

The project involves the construction of a new residential and commercial building in Como.

The building consists of a basement level with a rectangular plan (for garage use) and of 7 floors above ground, that make an L shape.

The vertical structures are made up of walls, columns and drop panels slabs s in reinforced concrete. Seismic bracing is of the building is completely sustained by staircases. In some cases the pillars are made of composed steel-concrete structures structures. The appended balconies (hanging on to the concrete structure of the main building) and the top floor are in steel structure.
